Sassafras was born out of the love of a child.  When our daughter was born I wanted nothing but the best for her.  I tell everyone she came into the world wide open…ready to go.  We nicknamed her "Sassafras" (southern for a sassy girl). The sweet southern smocked styles just didn’t seem to fit her personality so I began searching for "Sassafras" clothing. We found great lines with superior quality and had a ball building her wardrobe.  It is such fun to do together, to create stylish looks that express her personality.  I hope everyone can have as much fun with our styles as we do.
